Facebook Fires Back In Tele-Publishing Patent Feud

Law360, New York (November 9, 2010, 6:31 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. has accused Tele-Publishing Inc., Phoenix Media/ Communications Group Inc. and others of infringing two patents, in response to Tele-Publishing's own patent suit against the social networking giant.

Facebook's complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Monday, said the plaintiff had opted to lodge counterclaims against Tele-Publishing and its affiliates as a separate complaint — rather than in Tele-Publishing's pending case — pursuant to an Oct. 7 oral order from the judge overseeing both cases.
