Ralink Targets Lantiq Over Semiconductor Patent

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 5:24 PM EST) -- Ralink Technology Corp. has accused rival computer chip manufacturer Lantiq Deutschland GmbH of infringing a patent covering an array of broadband networking products.

The suit, filed Nov. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, alleges that Lantiq makes and sells a range of semiconductor products, including digital subscriber line and Ethernet chipsets, that incorporate technology owned by Ralink.
