DOJ Ends Reagents Antitrust Probe Into Immucor

Law360, New York (November 9, 2010, 1:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has closed a criminal antitrust investigation into Immucor Inc., which has also been hit with private civil litigation over an alleged conspiracy to fix the prices of blood reagents.

Norcross, Ga.-based Immucor said Monday that the DOJ's Antitrust Division had closed its investigation, which the agency launched in April 2009 when it subpoenaed the company for documents dating from Sept. 1, 2000. The company said it cooperated fully with the investigation.
