White House Drilling Ban Edits Muddied Support: DOI

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 3:00 PM EST) -- White House edits to the executive summary of the U.S. Department of the Interior report announcing the now-lifted drilling ban in the Gulf of Mexico gave the false impression that the blanket moratorium was reviewed by scientists, according to a recent investigation by the DOI's inspector general.
