Seagate, Western Digital Sued Over Disk Drive Tech

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 2:25 PM EST) -- Rembrandt Data Storage LP has filed a suit against Seagate Technology LLC and Western Digital Corp., accusing the companies of infringing two patents that cover thin film head technology for disk drives.

Rembrandt contends in separate complaints filed Wednesday against Seagate and Western in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin that several disk drives the companies produce breach its assigned intellectual property.
