McMillan, Lang Michener Strike Merger Deal

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 5:23 PM EST) -- Canadian law firms McMillan LLP and Lang Michener LLP have agreed to join forces in a move that will create a firm with nearly 400 attorneys in offices across Canada and in Hong Kong.

The merger, announced Tuesday, will take effect on Jan. 1, and the newly combined firm will be called McMillan. The tie-up aims to form one of the top Canadian firms based on size and reach in order to provide clients with an enhanced national presence and stronger international ties.
