More Window Shades Recalled After Toddler Death

Law360, New York (November 11, 2010, 3:58 PM EST) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the voluntary recall of more than half a million Roman shades and roller blinds by Hanover Direct Inc., sparked by a toddler's strangulation in a blind cord.

The recall announced Wednesday in a joint release from the CPSC and Hanover Direct Inc. involved about 495,000 Roman shades and 28,500 roller or roll-up blinds.
