DLA Piper Cuts Staff, Citing Need To 'Right-Size'

Law360, New York (November 12, 2010, 3:02 PM EST) -- DLA Piper has laid off an undisclosed number of administrative employees in various U.S. offices in an effort to “right-size” the firm's resources, on the heels of a similar announcement by Howrey LLP.

DLA Piper is working with the administrative employers affected by the right-sizing to help them search for new job opportunities, DLA Piper Chief Operating Officer Bob Bratt said in an e-mailed statement Friday.
