Wilson Sonsini Reps Isilon In $2.25B EMC Acquisition

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 5:20 PM EST) -- Data management and storage company EMC Corp. said Monday that it would pay $2.25 billion to buy Isilon Systems Inc., a fast-growing provider of so-called scale-out network-attached storage systems for data management.

Hopkinton, Mass.-based EMC will pay $33.85 per share in cash for Isilon in a deal that is expected to close late this year. The boards of directors at both companies have unanimously approved the terms of the agreement, the companies said.
