US, Others Finalize Global Anti-Counterfeiting Pact

Law360, New York (November 16, 2010, 5:11 PM EST) -- The United States, the European Union and 35 other nations on Monday concluded the final draft of an agreement aimed at curbing the proliferation of fake and pirated goods flooding across national borders and damaging companies’ bottom lines.

The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement follows three years and 10 rounds of intense and often secretive negotiations.
