Heartland Atty Dodges Some Claims Over $14M Fraud

Law360, New York (November 17, 2010, 2:16 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ruled that an attorney who helped prepare private placement documents for bankrupt oil and gas driller Heartland Resources Inc. could be held liable for damages linked to a $14 million fraud, while dismissing claims brought by several individual plaintiffs.
