Digital Video Founder Scores Victory In Fraud Case

Law360, New York (March 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A lawsuit alleging the founder of digital compression technology firm Digital Video Systems misrepresented his company’s financial status has ended in a victory for the defense, after a judge ruled plaintiffs did not prove a fraud occurred.

The verdict, handed down Wednesday in Santa Clara Superior Court, clears the name of Dr. Edmund Sun, who along with his company was accused of misleading investors to raise capital following DVS’ initial public offering.
