LA Hotel To Pay $1.3M To Settle NLRB Suit

Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 5:57 PM EST) -- The Wilshire Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles has agreed to pay $1.33 million to settle litigation brought by the National Labor Relations Board alleging that the hotel made unlawful changes to wages, benefits and working conditions beginning in 2007.

The NLRB said in a statement Friday that the settlement covers about $670,000 to reimburse a hotel benefit fund and about $665,000 in back pay to 106 employees.
