Comverge Sued Over Allegedly Faulty Thermostats

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 2:15 PM EST) -- A nonprofit energy distributor is alleging Comverge Inc., which makes energy management devices, breached a warranty by selling thermostats that pose a fire risk.

East Kentucky Power Cooperative Inc. filed a complaint Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky seeking to recoup costs associated with recalling thousands of thermostats from homes across the state.
