LandCoast Can't Shake Scaffolding Collapse Suit

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 5:56 PM EST) -- A federal judge has again shot down LandCoast Insulation Inc.'s bid to escape liability for a deadly scaffolding collapse at a Mississippi power plant, rejecting the subcontractor's argument that it was not obligated under an agreement with PIC Group Inc. to purchase insurance that covered all personal injury claims regardless of which party was at fault.
