Greece Eyes Snack Maker Over Exclusivity Deals

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 1:47 PM EST) -- Greece's competition watchdog has launched an investigation into whether snack maker Tasty Foods SA has violated Greek antitrust law by stifling market competition through its exclusivity agreements with retail outlets.

The Hellenic Competition Commission said Monday it would convene by the end of January to hear the case against Tasty Foods, prompted by complaints that the company is abusing its dominant position in the country's savory and salty snack foods market.
