J&J Pulls Children's Benadryl, Motrin Off Shelves

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 8:02 PM EST) -- Johnson & Johnson has pulled all batches of certain versions of children’s Benadryl and Motrin off store shelves in a voluntary wholesale- and retail-level recall that the pharmaceutical giant linked to company-identified issues in the manufacturing process but said would not affect consumers.


The company's McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit has recalled all product lots of children’s Benadryl Allergy Fastmelt Tablets in cherry and grape flavors, and all product lots of Junior Strength Motrin Caplets 24 count, a company spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
