Lowe's Sued Over Storage Unit Patents

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 1:56 PM EST) -- A business partner of a former supplier of Lowe's Cos. Inc. has launched an infringement suit against the retailer, claiming it illegally copied a patented design on overhead shelving.

Nevada-based KE Investments LLC, which owns patents exclusively licensed to one-time Lowe's supplier Diamond Storage Concepts LLC, filed suit against Lowe's on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
