Model Loses Appeal In Bose Unfair Photo Use Suit

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 3:54 PM EST) -- A model whose image was improperly used to market a Bose Corp. home entertainment system has lost her appeal seeking a new trial on damages because jurors awarded her only $10,000 of the $2 million she had requested.


Model Ting Ji claimed a lower court erred in blocking her attempts to get financial data from Bose and in its instructions to jurors, but the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Tuesday upheld the proceedings.
