SEC Eyed For Negligence In Enforcement Cases

Law360, New York (November 29, 2010, 6:52 PM EST) -- The watchdog charged with overseeing the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said Monday that it is continuing investigations into whether commission staff at a regional office failed to pursue allegations that a prominent law firm obstructed an investigation.

The disclosure came as part of Inspector General H. David Kotz's semiannual report to Congress.
