Parents Sue McDonalds Over Kids' Wages

Law360, New York (March 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A McDonald’s Corp. franchisee has been sued by the parents of two underage employees for allegedly making them work more than the allotted time for school bound minors and failing to pay them overtime.

The lawsuit was filed against J.K.S. & K. Inc. on March 21 in the Southern District of Florida. It alleges willful violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and attorneys’ fees.
