Latham Advises Mellanox In $218M Voltaire Deal

Law360, New York (November 30, 2010, 4:17 PM EST) -- Connectivity solutions provider Mellanox Technologies Ltd. has agreed to buy Voltaire Ltd. for around $218 million, aiming to bolster its position in the data storage industry.

Mellanox and Voltaire said Monday that they had signed a definitive agreement under which Mellanox would acquire all of Voltaire's outstanding ordinary shares for $8.75 apiece, and that the transaction's terms had been unanimously approved by both companies' boards of directors.

When the cash on Voltaire's books is taken into consideration, Mellanox will be paying about $176 million.
