Rambus Goes After Broadcom, LSI In Latest IP Suits

Law360, New York (December 2, 2010, 1:58 PM EST) -- Rambus Inc. has made another push to protect its computer chip patents, filing three new infringement suits — including one in the U.S. International Trade Commission — against LSI Corp., Broadcom Corp. and dozens of others.

The complaints, the latest chapters in Rambus' litigious history over patents for semiconductor products, accuse the defendants of making, selling or importing personal computers, workstations, Blu-ray disc players and other items containing parts that allegedly incorporate the plaintiff's intellectual property.
