Enviro Group Wins CWA Suit Against Sun Drilling

Law360, New York (December 3, 2010, 5:16 PM EST) -- A Louisiana environmental group has won summary judgment in a Clean Water Act lawsuit accusing drilling fluid manufacturer Sun Drilling Products Corp. of illegally discharging pollutants into the Mississippi River.

Judge Carl J. Barbier of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana issued the ruling Thursday after finding that the Louisiana Environmental Action Network has standing to pursue the case.
