Estee Lauder Challenge To Cosmetic Kit Tariffs Lives

Law360 (December 8, 2010, 8:01 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Wednesday refused to throw out Estee Lauder Inc.'s challenge to markups applied to holiday season cosmetic kits the company imported in 2005, turning aside the government's bid to have the case dismissed on jurisdictional grounds.

Judge R. Kenton Musgrave's denial of the dismissal bid was posted in a docket entry in the U.S. Court of International Trade after oral arguments. Lawyers for Estee Lauder declined comment Wednesday evening.
