White House Unveils Export Control Reform Proposals

Law360, New York (December 9, 2010, 6:19 PM EST) -- The Obama administration has published several proposed rules as part of its ongoing overhaul of export control regulations, including proposals for new licensing policies and a rewriting of the U.S. Munitions List.

The proposed regulations were announced after a Wednesday meeting of the President's Export Council, which was convened to advance President Barack Obama's goal of doubling exports over the next five years.
