Remy Targets 8 Cos. In 337 Suit Over Starter Patents

Law360 (December 10, 2010, 4:47 PM EST) -- Remy International Inc. has lodged a complaint in the U.S. International Trade Commission against eight companies located in the U.S. and China over imported parts that allegedly infringe seven of the alternator and starter maker's patents.

The new complaint, a copy of which was not publicly available Friday, asserts seven patents and seeks an ITC investigation, according to Mark L. Hogge of SNR Denton, who represents Remy, and who cited a "flood" of infringing imports.
