Morgan Stanley Says Ex-Manager Stole Employees

Law360, New York (December 14, 2010, 3:24 PM EST) -- Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC is accusing a former branch manager of breach of contract for allegedly enticing several of the company's employees to resign and join his newly formed investment services firm.

Anthony Sirianni, the owner Washington Wealth Management LLC, allegedly violated a compensation agreement with Smith Barney LLC, MSSB's predecessor, barring him from soliciting its employees to join a competitor if he left the company, according to a suit that MSSB filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia....
