Court Dismisses Alaska's Lost Taxes Claim Against BP

Law360 (December 15, 2010, 4:43 PM EST) -- An Alaska judge has ruled that the state cannot claim damages from lost taxes in a suit that alleges BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. breached a contract with the state when it failed to properly maintain pipelines, causing two oil spills in Prudhoe Bay in 2006.
