Fired Dechert Atty Blasts Firm's 'Macho' Culture

Law360, New York (December 15, 2010, 2:00 PM EST) -- A former associate in Dechert LLP's Boston office has filed a discrimination suit that claims he was mocked for eschewing the firm's "macho" culture by devoting too much time to family obligations, and unlawfully fired when he took leave to care for his wife after she attempted suicide.

Ariel Ayanna, who said he worked for Dechert from September 2006 through December 2008, filed his lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Wednesday.
