Ex-Wal-Mart Exec Faces Trial Over Move To CVS

Law360 (December 15, 2010, 5:48 PM EST) -- A Delaware judge on Wednesday issued a preliminary injunction barring a former Wal-Mart Stores Inc. executive from signing on as the head of CVS Caremark Corp.’s retail division, setting the stage for a trial to determine if the move violates a noncompete agreement.

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster converted a temporary restraining order against the executive, Harry Mullany Jr., to a 12-month preliminary injunction at a hearing in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
