Asarco Tries To Reopen FOIA Fight, Claims EPA Lied

Law360, New York (December 17, 2010, 5:39 PM EST) -- Asarco Inc. is fighting to reopen a suit seeking to compel documents from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency related to an Omaha Superfund site, contending that the agency lied to have the suit dismissed and destroyed records before the mining company paid roughly $215 million in cleanup costs.
