Candy Co. Sends Calvin Klein IP Suit For Christmas

Law360, New York (December 17, 2010, 1:23 PM EST) -- For the second time in as many years, a chocolate company in Oregon has accused Calvin Klein Inc. of infringing its trademarks by offering a free box of chocolates with perfume as part of a holiday promotion.

Euphoria Chocolate Co. filed a complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, saying Calvin Klein infringed its Euphoria marks by using the same word on boxes of chocolates given away with the perfume, which is also called Euphoria.
