Plan To Up Judges' Patent Expertise Sent To Obama

Law360, New York (December 20, 2010, 5:32 PM EST) -- U.S. lawmakers have passed legislation that would create a pilot program to help some federal judges boost their patent law expertise, sending the bill to the White House for approval.

The U.S. House of Representatives signed off on an amended version of the bill by a vote of 371 to 1 on Friday and cleared the proposal for President Barack Obama's signature.
