Obama Vows To Back Colombia, Panama Trade Deals

Law360, New York (December 20, 2010, 2:29 PM EST) -- The White House has pledged to move forward on stalled free trade agreements with Panama and Colombia after reports that the Obama administration was tabling the deals because they lack congressional support.

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said in a blog post Sunday that the administration was working to resolve outstanding issues with the agreements so that they could both move forward at the "right time" for Congress' consideration.
