Lobbyist Pleads Guilty In Ala. Bingo Bribery Ring

Law360 (December 20, 2010, 7:20 PM EST) -- An Alabama lobbyist has pled guilty to participating in a scheme to barter with lawmakers for affirmative votes on pro-gambling legislation, admitting to offering a $1 million-per-year consulting job to a state senator in exchange for supporting a bill to allow electronic bingo gambling in the state, among other charges.
