Boutiques See Little Impact From Knorr-Bremse Decision

Law360 (September 16, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit’s landmark Knorr-Bremse ruling won’t have a deep impact on opinion practices at boutique firms, the president of the Association of Patent Law Firms insisted.

“I don’t see our clients looking at this decision and saying that now we don’t have to get opinions anymore,” Jim Kayden said in a comment to the closely watched Knorr-Bremse case, decided this week.
