Latham Snags Trade Lawyer From Covington

Law360 (January 6, 2011, 7:06 PM EST) -- Latham & Watkins LLP has picked up a Covington & Burling LLP attorney in an effort to bolster its international trade practice in Washington.

Les Carnegie, who worked at Covington & Burling for 10 years, joined Latham as counsel on Tuesday, bringing with him hefty experience in export and re-export controls, trade and economic sanctions, controls on foreign investment in the U.S., the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, immigration laws, and U.S. anti-boycott laws.
