Law360, New York (April 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Total SA on Tuesday denied claims that the U.S. Securities Exchange and the U.S. Department of Justice had summoned its chief executive in the wake of a French newspaper’s report that the agencies were seeking more information on the French energy giant’s activities in Iran.
Total said neither the company nor any of its top executives had received a summons from the SEC or the DOJ, Dow Jones reported, citing a spokesperson for the company.
