High Court Won't Hear IBM Worker's Employment Suit

Law360, New York (January 10, 2011, 3:44 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear the case of an ex-IBM Corp. employee who claimed the company illegally refused to reintegrate him as a data administrator after he returned from military service in Afghanistan.

The high court on Monday denied George Wysocki's petition for a writ of certiorari, filed in November, giving no reason for its decision not to hear the suit. It did note that Justice Stephen Breyer took no part in the consideration or decision of the petition.
