EU, Serbia Ink Market Access Deal On WTO Accession

Law360, New York (January 11, 2011, 1:50 PM EST) -- Serbia signed a bilateral agreement Tuesday with the European Union regarding its accession to the World Trade Organization that includes tariff provisions and processes to open the country's services markets.

The accession agreement, which focuses mainly on tariffs for products traded between the EU and Serbia and reciprocally opening that country's services markets, is a major step in the final stage of the country's six-year-old efforts to join the WTO.
