Seiko Epson Cheers ITC Ruling

Law360, New York (April 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has given Japan’s Seiko Epson Corp. a favorable ruling in its bid to stop 24 international companies from importing allegedly infringing products into the United States, the company said Wednesday.

The preliminary ITC ruling was a significant boost for the world's number-two ink jet printer manufacturer. It asked the Washington, D.C.-based ITC to investigate the companies in February 2006.
