ArcelorMittal Grills Rivals' Employees In Patent Trial

Law360, New York (January 11, 2011, 7:07 PM EST) -- Steel giant ArcelorMittal questioned trial witnesses Tuesday as it tried to prove three U.S. competitors infringed on its patent for aluminum-coated steel sheets to provide a domestic supply of the product to major U.S. auto manufacturers.

Employees involved in research and engineering for the defendants — AK Steel Corp., Severstal Dearborn Inc. and Wheeling-Nisshin Inc. — took the stand in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
