Farmer Co-Op Group Assails Antitrust Commission

Law360, New York (April 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The national association representing America’s farmer cooperatives has blasted the Antitrust Modernization Commission over its just-released recommendations, contending that implementing the suggested measures would strip agricultural producers of their market position.

On Tuesday, The National Council of Farmer Cooperatives issued a blistering statement expressing its critical view on the heels of the Commission releasing its long-awaited report.
