UK Auto Insurers To Stop Sharing Pricing Data

Law360, New York (January 13, 2011, 1:15 PM EST) -- Axa Insurance UK PLC, Aviva PLC and five other auto insurance providers have agreed to stop sharing individual pricing information through an Experian Ltd. software program following an investigation by British regulators into whether the program limits competition.

The Office of Fair Trading said Thursday that it plans to accept the formal commitments proposed by the insurers and two software companies, which will put an end to the probe.
