Blingville Seeks Trademark Rights In Zynga Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2011, 6:00 PM EST) -- Zynga Inc., the developer of social networking games "FarmVille" and "CityVille," has been struck with a preemptive lawsuit by a computer game maker trying to stake its claim to the name Blingville.

Harpers Ferry, W.Va.-based Blingville LLC asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia to declare it is authorized to use the name Blingville commercially in a complaint filed Friday.
