Howrey Antitrust Co-Chair Jumps Ship

Law360, New York (January 20, 2011, 6:31 PM EST) -- Howrey LLP's worldwide antitrust practice co-chair has defected and the firm has decided to shutter its Salt Lake City office, marking the latest bad news for a global firm that recently lost its litigation co-chair and a slew of other partners.

A Howrey spokeswoman confirmed Trevor Soames' departure Thursday, and she also confirmed that the firm's seven-lawyer office in Salt Lake City would close Feb. 15.
