Ugglebo Picks Trademark Fight With Deckers Over Uggs

Law360 (January 21, 2011, 5:58 PM EST) -- Ugglebo Clogs LLC, the Minnesota-based distributor of the trademarked Swedish footwear, has hit Deckers Outdoor Corp. with a Lanham Act unfair competition suit over its Ugg-brand clogs.

Deckers' use of the Ugg brand impairs the plaintiff's ability to sell Ugglebo clogs and diminishes the value of the Ugglebo brand, according to Thursday's complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
