Saab Recalls 9-3 Vehicles Over Faulty Fuel Pumps

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 5:49 PM EST) -- Saab Cars North America Inc. plans to recall more than 4,500 of its 2010 and 2011 model years 9-3 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada to fix a fuel pump issue that can cause engines to stall.

Convertibles and sedans affected by the recall — which the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced Friday — contain fuel pumps that can seize, stopping fuel flow to the engine and potentially causing a crash.
