DRAM Antitrust Suit Against Hynix Dismissed For Now

Law360 (April 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Price-fixing claims by Sun Microsystems Inc. and Unisys Corp. against Hynix Semiconductor Inc. were dismissed on Thursday, after a federal judge ruled that the companies bringing the suit needed to submit more evidence.

The lawsuit, filed in September in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, sought to recover damages the two companies claimed they had incurred as a result of “longstanding collusion” by DRAM suppliers.
